Help: Problem with the Palm T/X

I'm having problems with my Palm T/X with Vista. For some reason it's not letting me Hot Sync my info into the PDA. Is there anyone out there experiencing the same problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Can you describe more specifically the problem? There are known issues between Palm TX and Vista. The QuickInstall Palm program will not work with Vista.

Are you able to sync any info at all or just not able to load new programs?

There is a work around to loading new programs.

Re: Help: Problem with the Palm T/X

yeah, what he said. VISTA is your problem. I'm guessing you will have to switch back to XP. soory it sucks, but I'm guessing there isnt any support for vista yet. contact the palm website for up to date info.

Re: Help: Problem with the Palm T/X

I have a TX that I sync with a Vista laptop.

There are known issues but they can be worked around.

Can you describe, as asked above, what exact problems you are having? Cannot sync at all? Cannot install programs? What?

Thanks

I sync a T5, a T/X and a Treo with VISTA. Go to the palm site and search for vista. There is a version of desktop there for VISTA. All my skyscape and other reference material all sync.

Re: Help: Problem with the Palm T/X

you need to d/l the palm desktop software for the treo 680. It's on the palm web site. The reason you can't sync is because you're running vista 64 bit, which is not compatable with most programs anymore. Let me know how it works, and email me if you have any more ?'s

This is what I found. I'm about to buy a T/X and have Vista as well. Since I've had so many other compatibility problems with Vista, I wanted to be sure this would work with my laptop.
