I just received my palm T/X two days ago, I downloaded a few things on it, like taber dic, rn notes etc. for some reason it went completely black a couple of hours ago and I am not sure why. What should I do?

I do not understand why this happened, I am trying to charge it now and I get nothing it is still completely black.

anyone out there? Someone, anyone please help!!

Did you try resetting it?

That's as far as my knowledge goes.

I think you need to go to the palm website and read up on the troubleshooting guide.

If all else fails, you can call the hotline and for $25 they'll walk you through a fix for it.

I did not even know there was a reset button until you mention it. Thanks a bunch!!! I got in up and running again. Any idea why that happened? Why did it just go blank like that?

No, no idea, but you might check the Troubleshooting guide on the Palm site anyhow.

Maybe you need to tweak your Preferences or something. Maybe it accidentally turned on for a long time and then ran down the charge enough to need a soft reset.

I have no idea. Mine's only done that once or twice.

I really recommend reading all you can on it. It's a big investment and you certainly want it to last a long time.

HI, I have a Palm TX as well and twice it has gotten itself stuck in loop and the only way out of it was a "hard reset". Anyway, they have a great website that stepped me right through it... as to why your set went blank, the only thing I can think of is that it wasn't fully charged or the syncing had a glitch in it... in any case, it looks as though all is well. Check out their troubleshooting guide on their website so you know where it is the next time you have a glitch (which will probably happen)
