I think this is the link for a discussion board call Brighthand.
It has a lot of information, but it's pretty heavily populated by "technosexuals" (just love that term!) so some of it can be a bit arcane for users like me. (Programmers used to say "Users are losers," but I don't care any more. Computers are great, but life is too short to worry about how they work.)

Skyscape is a software vender with a section especially for nurses. I'm sure there are others, but I find them pretty easy to navigate. Just bought an NCLEX review from them--I figure that's a better way to kill time than FreeCell, at least for the next few months.

Hi guys. I use my handheld daily. One of my favorites is ER-ICU Toolbox 5.0 from http://www.collectivemed.com When you get a little older and it's 0200, and you are up to your butt in alligators - these little devices help one with doses, drips et all. I don't think a nurse should be without one. Lots of programs out there.

www.pdacortex.com is good and lots of free downloads. also a listserve that you can subscribe to via your email
