I’m still looking for a good drug guide for looking up non-anesthesia meds, since epocrates is trash.
Epocrates isn't worth a roll of TP...The program I was talking about from skyscape with Anesthesia Constellation is indeed SO's Drug Handbook. Like I said before, it is an AWESOME program and very in depth, you can hide like the junior I was last year in the hall, cramming on the pharm dynamics of drugs you forgot. It is also extremely easy to use and quickly navigate around.
A good non-anesthesia program is RN Drugs or something, you can also find it at skyscape. It is a really big help out in preop when you get a hold of a PO med that you don't know.
Another program that can save your rear for 15 bucks is Infusicalc from aetherpalm.com. Enter the weight and your desired dosage of virtually anything, it tells the rate of the pump or any combination of the above. This was actually more useful in the units - used it everyday.
