I downloaded epocrates b/c it had a drip rate...whis is great if you know how much drug you are infusing, but when you just need the flow rate and nothing else..it doesn't do that.

I have used epocrates... and it's got tons of applications as well as other bells & whistles that really don't apply to nurses and nursing practice. In my humble opinion epocrates is more geared towards the physician.
I use Skyscape for everything. I learned of skyscape through the AACN. AACN has a ton of PDA applications (some are free!) as well as reccomendations for PDA programs. It even breaks down the programs into categories.
For your question, in particular, I have used a program called Archimedes or Archimedes 360. It allows you to calculate the gtt/min, or ml/hr or total volume of amount of time.
