The free EPOCRATES program does not expire, I have had it on my PDA for almost two years. I LOVE IT! You do however need to hotsync every week or so to get all of the latest updates. You also get a free med math program with it. Check it out, it will be worth your time.

I just purchased a flashcard program called WinFlash educator to use with Flashcard exchange and handcards.com. Great programs and are just like if you were writing them. You set them up yourself or download them from Flashcard exchange.com

Try ebay...I just got a palm tx with a 1 gig card (normally about 360) for 175 dollars...may take a few days to find a good deal but well worth it if you can wait for the delivery.
