I'm very confused!! I want to purchase a PDA after looking at several sites about PDA's ie Palm etc. I do not know what is a good one to purchase any PDA owners out there that can give this 09er some help. Thanks. Also what about sites that offers PDA's loaded with programs. Are they any good?

I personally feel the cellphone/PDA combo is much more powerful than havng both separately, if you subscribe to unlimited internet (price for this varies greatly from carrier to carrier). See what PDAs your cellular carrier offers.

Both Palm and Windows PDAs have software for nurses. Try both and see what your more comfortable with. I prefer Windows PDAs, even though I'm no fan of Microsoft.

Does any one know a good PDA i can buy with some programs. What is the best drug reference pda software? Does any one know a good software that would help with organzational skills.

I just bought the TX and so far I love it. However, I'm having a hard time installing Epocrates and the other free nursing software out there. I have a Mac (which I absolutely love!) but whenever I download the software it doesn't work. It keeps insisting the Epocrates is a video! Anyone else having these types of issues? And if so, did you find a way around it?

I'm not familiar with a "TX" PDA, nor with installing ePocrates from a Mac, but I do know ePocrates has technical support available. Contact them for help, and try to verify compatibility before the return period is up on your PDA! =)

Hello,

Does anyone know where to get PDA software that doesn't require the internet or a browser? I recently bought software and I have to get the internet on my phone just to use it which is going to cost me a whole lot more every month. I'm still studying for the NCLEX so I can't afford it right now
