Dial-up.

Yes. My parents are cheap so I'm stuck with dial-up for as long as I'm here. Anyway, my question is, can you load software and stuff onto a PDA through a dial-up connection?

I notice on Skyscape's site, they suggest that if you have dial-up, you get a CD, rather than try to download.

Why not offer to upgrade your parent's internet service? The difference is only about $15-20/month.

Re: Dial-up.

If you have a Wi-Fi device, go to starbucks (or any place with an access point) and download it directly to the PDA.
