Dell x51v -- nursing student software?

Hi,

I have a Dell x51v and I am so lost as to what software to get. I am starting nursing school (again ) in the Fall and I am wondering if there are any programs out there that are geared towards nursing students? Or that would be helpful to me?

I have searched through the posts here and I must say I am so confused by it all..

Hello,

I am not sure what threads you read but there are websites such as skyscape.com that you can buy and download nursing software. I think it works for most or even all PDA's check it out

Re: Dell x51v -- nursing student software?

I agree, go to Skyscape.com, and you will find lots of good nursing software for you Dell. I also have the Dell X51v, and love it. I recommend downloading Skyscapes Constellation software, which is a good bundle to have. I would also recommend adding on Tabers, which is a medical encyclopedia. I'm a nursing student also, and use the Constellation software and Tabers all the time while in clinicals. It's a great bundle. Also, don't confuse nursing student software, as opposed to nursing software: there is no difference, as all the software you get as a student will be the same software you use once you graduate. You will not have to buy all new software once you graduate. You can always buy more software that will do different things, but the software you get during nursing school will be valuable during your whole career. Oh...I almost forgot. I also downloaded Lippicott's NCLEX study guide. I purchased it through Skyscape as well, and so during my free time, I can practice a few NCLEX questions. Very helpful as well. Hope this helps.

I have one of the early Dell Axims. I love it. There are so many nice features. You can make a powerpoint presentation on it, plug into a projector and deliver your presentation from your Axim.
I upgraded to a smartphone recently, but I still keep my Axim for lots of stuff.
