Yup well after all those posts I made about the cingular 8525, I"m going back to the Palm Os and switching back to a TREO.

It's not that there is anything bad about the 8525, it's just I turned out to be an old fart after all and can't change. The 9525 has done everything I"ve wanted it to do, I'm just stuck on the Palm OS . I've been using Palm since the begining, and have owned one of every kind of Palm that has been released I think. I've got a new Palm Treo 680, and with all my stuff crammed in there, I've still got 34meg RAM left and haven't even begun to fill the 2 gig card.

I found the I was used to Documents To Go and that works just fine for me, for my writing projects, and I use agendus for my PIM. I get my email, (mostly text based) on it and don't do as much web surfing as I though I would. (When I travel, I've got a small laptop with wifi). I never used the wifi on the 8525. THe biggest seller for me is the test messaging and the ability to thread SMS on the Treo. I've found that working swing shifts, SMS is the way I tend to comunicate with people I"ve met around the country doing travel assigments and such as well as with my book colaberators.

Yes the interface is dated, but then again, I started my first IV back in 1978, so people would say I'm dated, and I like to think I'm a good nurse and worth at least as much as all these young wipersnappers that I'm surrounded with. SOmetimes the old tried and true is more comfortable and it gets the job done.
