install the software onto your computer
plug in the cable
hit the button on cable
thats it.
It comes with a utility to drag and drop palm software directly to the palm.
Some things you might want to consider:
I have read reviews about the power button at the top wearing out, to counteract this, you can download a free program called off-it which lets you power off the palm just by clicking the program.
(saves the button life )
If you plan on viewing youtube videos you might consider a program called Kinoma. It allows you to search and stream youtube, google videos and much more. It costs around 25 bucks, but for the guy who needs everything, I had to pick it up.
I'm also going to download and try out a flash player for palm os , and I'll let you know how that goes before I recommend anything. Currently there is no flash support available for palm
