any free downloads?

Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are any free or inexpensive downloads for Tabers medical dictionary, Davis' drug guide, Diseases and disorders, or davis handbook? These programs are so expensive to download just curious as to if there are any free programs or inexpensive instead of $50/ for each program.

Thanks,
Neci

Re: any free downloads?

Could try and do a search but when paying for them you usually get any updates also sometimes if buying 2 or more you get some sort of discount and I should image there will be some sort of copyright issues

There is a neat little freeware program called Eponyms. Eponyms are diseases that are named after someone. It comes in handy from time to time, particularly if you work with pediatric patients who may have obscure disorders.

As far as drug guides, Epocrates offers a free one.

As far as I know, there are no legal ways to download said applications for free. That said, I got Davis from Skyscape for about $45, and it will probably be the one out of all of these that you use the most, if you're looking to save here and there.
