Hello all and thanks for the help!!!

I am an eager LVN who is looking to take the next step in my career... only I am having a hard time finding a STATE accredited school for my RN degree. My husband is active duty military and we are soon to be stationed at Fort Knox, KY. My issue is I want to get my BSN online from KY butI can't find an online college that TX accepts as creditation towards me getting my license. URGH!!! Can anyone please help me!?!

~Thanks a lot!!! LVN

Re: TX LVN/Military Wife want's RN degree online

Have you checked out ISU? They have a LPN-BSN program, and I'm fairly sure it's accepted everywhere. It sounds like that would fit your plan.

Excelsior College has a LPN-RN online program as well. There are several TX students here that can tell you more about that.

If you do get your RN first, and then want to get your BSN, McKendree University has a campus in Radcliffe. Most of the classes aren't online, but you can attend class 1 day a week, and remain full time. I got my BSN from them (Louisville campus), and I highly recommend them.

University of Louisville also has an online RN-BSN program.

That should get you started, at least .
