Re: student loans

Go to www.fastweb.com. It will allow you to see all the scholarships you are elligible for and apply online. Trying to get your RN, there's a lot out there. The school you are attending should have a financial AID department which will help you with the paperwork. Also www.fasfa.ed.gov will allow you to fill out the national paperwork, if you have kids and are single you should get a break. Good luck!

Re: student loans

I received a student loan from Sallie Mae.

Visit www.SallieMae.com for more info. They are fairly lenient in issuing student loans for the 'extra expenses'.

Re: student loans

Yes I have been taking out student loans jhust to make end meets. I also am a single mother and cut back on my work hours. However I am not really worried about the loan payback cause in the state of Kentucky the state will pay back 20% of your loans for every year you work as a nurse in a Kentucky hospital. So after 5 yrs of working in Kentucky my loans will be paid back at 100%.
