Hi! I'm Johanna! I'm curently and LPN and will be starting the transition program to RN in August! I can't wait! I currently work on the Med-Surg floor of one of the hospitals in the area and love it nad can't wait to further my career!!
Hey everyone! I have been an LPN for 9 yrs. Working in LTC. I have worked my way up the ladder, and I am currently working as a Nurse Manager. I just had a baby and have decided to jump in to the local RN bridge program to get paid for my management work. I love managing, although I do miss pt care. I should probably try out a hospital at some point... Any thoughts from anyone going from LTC to Hospital? How is the pay different? I am in ohio, I know it varies from state to state. I would love to hear some thoughts!
Linda here! I am getting pinned as an LPN in 28 days! Then on to start getting my pre-req's done for the RN bridge program. I love reading all of your posts, you are all teaching me so much!
Hello everyone! I have been a member on this site for a while, but now can officially join the LPN-RN site! I have been an LPN for 2 years, and will start the bridge program at North Central Missouri College this August. I am married, 14 years, have three daughters ages 14, 11 and 8.
Hello All! My name is Kristin. I am a twenty three year old female who recently graduated as an LPN in May. I didn't take my NCLEX exam as I figure that it will be even more motivation for me to graduate as an RN. I start classes in August. At the moment I am a stay at home Mommy to my three year old daughter and I paint custom shirts to bring in a little extra spending money. Good luck to all of you!
Hello, my name is Jessica and I recently passed the PN-NCLEX . It is hard for me to actually adapt to calling myself a nurse. I will be starting the RN program at the end of August, I can't wait. Good luck to everyone!
Hi everyone! My name is Kelly and I have been an LPN for 10 years. I've worked in peds home health for the last 8. I will be starting RN school in August and am getting excited/nervous.
Hey everyone and GOOD LUCK! Woo-hoo to all of us! I am not yet enrolled in the program as I keep putting it off, but honestly, being on this site has truely motivated me! I have been a LPN for 9 years and just applied today for a Trauma Care Unit. Got called back within a couple hours of submitting app/resume. I'm crossing my fingers there! Thanks to all of you for the motivation....I plan to do studies at home, if any of you are doing that, how's that going for ya?
