I didn't know and had posted in a post a book for nurses to read about a nurse which was recreational reading, not educational reading so maybe that is why I was warned.

Hello Sarah,

You have not been warned See, your meter still says 0%.

And your meter is visible only to you and the moderators/admin. No other user can see it.

Every user has a a warn meter - including me

I hope this helps

cheers,

No. In school kids wear a Dunce cap in front of a room.

At Allnures, it's between the moderator and the poster. It's not a matter of being bad nurses, it's a matter of TOS violations.

The number of posters is in the thousands, but the number of people with warnings is quite small. Mods don't assign warnings very often. Many people violate the TOS, most inadvertantly, but few get warnings when one looks at the big picture.

Then there are the few toxic posts and members that have to be dealt with.

I'm sure you weren't even serious and aren't remotely interested, but someone reading this might be.

Re: what does the "Warn 0 %" at the bottom left hand part of my posts mean?

In the early days of the bb, we had a few members who felt they could post anyting that they wanted and with quick back and forth posting style ran over new members seeking advice. They drove many members away....some notified Admin team of issues

Hence, the Terms of Service - All Users Please Read and Follow was developed as a bb guideline for posting and behavior expected at this moderated board. Input was obtained fom Members, Moderators and Admin Team and it is peridically revised to address issues of bb members & staff.

Warning system is quick way to contact members to discuss posting concerns, alert moderating staff of issues regarding specific posts and documentation of our interactions. All interactions are between moderator and member only as we respect your privacy. Also quick way to BAN advertizers and spammers.

With ~1,500 new members joining monthly, we must be doing something right. Our call is to be supportive, not divisive. Serving as a world wide gateway to the nursing profession, it is important to remember that this bulletin board reaches out to nurses and other readers all over the world. Members repeatedly thank us for the flame free atmosphere we provide.

Hopefully you understand our moderation and warning sytem now!
