Time/Clock

Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, but how do I get my computer clock to match up with the time of my posts? My computer clock is right, but every time I post something it shows it was posted like 10 minutes ago.

I don't know why, but it drives me nuts!

Thanks!

Re: Time/Clock

No ideas huh? It's still off by 10 minutes. I thought it was just my settings or something, that I needed to change something ..... but I can't find anything anywhere, except where I put in my time zone.

I guess I'll just learn to live with it, lol.

Hi RainDreamer,

I looked at your profile settings and they were set not to use Daylight savings time. I changed your settings, so they should be correct now. Please let me know, if they are or not. Thanks

I had it set not to use Daylight Savings time because we don't use Daylight Savings time here in AZ. The HOUR on my posts are perfectly fine, the only problem is that it's like 10-15 minutes off.

edited: now I see that it's only about 3 minutes off .... that's much better!

But I'll need to have it changed back to not use Daylight Savings time since we don't change our clocks here. Thanks!

Re: Time/Clock

You can tweak your time settings on the following page:
http://allnurses.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions

Scroll down to the Date & Time Options Section. Make changes as you need to, then save, look at the timestamp at the bottom of each page, to see how it matches up. Then just tweak the pull down menu settings until it works for you.

It appears to me that the server time is off by two minutes, I'll try and get that taken care of.

Hope that helps.

Re: Time/Clock

Whatever you guys did, it's much better now! 2-3 minutes off isn't as bad as the 10-15 minutes it was.

Thanks, Brian!
