Question Thread Subscriptions

If we subscribe to a thread and it's then moved, does that totally nullify the topic subscription?

Re: Thread Subscriptions

No, you receive notifications as usual. Moving has no bearing on subscriptions.

i see...are the notifications automatically sent immediately as the replies are posted? i'm surprised because i was told that there were many negative replies to a thread that caused it to be eventually removed, yet i only got one notification of a reply. so, i had assumed that when the thread was moved, that cancelled the subscription, and that's why i didn't get anyone else's posts....

Re: Thread Subscriptions

You should receive all posts via email if you've selected to receive them this way. Not sure why you've not received all posts within a thread. Could be something on your end.

i got notices for replies to other threads just fine the very same day the replies to that one should have arrived, though.

Re: Thread Subscriptions

Still could be something on your end, olive drab. It it were global, other members would be reporting as well. Moving a thread has nothing to do with subscriptions. Hope it clears up.
