Suggestion: A CNA forum in each State's section

CNA's job duties, classroom, exams, etc. vary from state to state. It would be nice to deal with CNAs only from Texas, for example. I've had threads bumped that should have been in the CNA section that end up in TX forum and visa versa. A general CNA forum is much too vague since many of the rules don't apply to a particular state.

Thanks for hearing me out.

Great website!

Re: Suggestion: A CNA forum in each State's section

One of the issues is that I we would run into is this: If we added specialty forums for each state, the site would quickly become unwieldy. We have several dozen specialty forums on the site, so multiplying them all by 51 would make the site unmanageable.

The way it's set up right now, if you have a CNA-related question that is specific to Texas (scope of practice issues, questions about a particular facility or city, etc), post it in the Texas Forum. We do have CNA's and former CNA's that browse the forum.

I'm the moderator for the Texas Forum. If you post a question there and it doesn't get answered within a couple of days, send me a private message (PM) and I'll see what I can do to help you find an answer.

Eric

Another idea to to create thread in CNA area specific for state like

"Texas CNA regulations and issues" or

"What skills are permitted to be performed by Texas CNA's?"

"Does PA have CNA med tech's?
