I could not figure out what was wrong with my display today, then I finally realized... there is a larger than normal column of ads to the left of the message board itself. The boards are now squished over the the right.

Is this bothering anyone beside me? I am all for advertising, I know it helps pay for our great site, but could this be made into an individual preference as far as appearance of screen goes? Or maybe put the ads back on the left?

Sorry to gripe, but it just makes the screen/view uncomfortable to me.

It's not just the ads...I'm on dialup, and the vertical ads pop up first on the screen, then a few seconds of waiting, THEN finally the rest of the stuff pops up to the screen.

It seems to take longer to write the screen full of info this way. I much prefer the way it used to be.

I posted in the admin section about this very thing. I couldn't surf the site ystdy for being distracted by the ads on the left. You can't read with stuff in your left margin.

You could always just tape (?staple? ?glue?) some pieces of cardboard over the left side of your monitor so it wouldn't be so distracting.

All of a sudden now all of the advertising is on the left of my screen. It is so annoying, because every single time I have to open a post, I have to scroll to the right, over and over again. It just takes all the fun away that I have when I am on this site.
Is there a way to move it back to where it was?

every time I open a post, the screen won't show the complete
sentences, so I have move my mouse and arrow to the bar on
the bottom, and scroll to the right so that I can read the
sentences

I am glad you all agree. I didn't mean to offend anyone, but I just had to see if there is a way to get it the way it was.
