I, although I am not a nurse, have found this site extremely helpful. You see, I spend a lot of time in hospitals, well 1 “checkup” with a geneticist, 1 or 2 eye exams with an ophthalmologist, and a yearly MRI, occasional plastic surgery consultations (for my plexiform neurofibroma on my right orbit) and occasional surgeries (four in my seventeen years of life and possibly another one soon). I now understand better the terminology, reasons for things, and ways to do things (I have terrible veins and so I have actually recommended some of the tips that appear on various threads and they have helped.) So in conclusion, I love this site.
