Re: Edit?

I usually use the edit button right away if I notice I misspelled a word, or that my wording is hard to understand.

Re: Edit?

I'm not quite sure how spam can be handled by disabling the edit for nonpayiing members. In fact it seems spam could be worsened. For example, I posted a response to a thread at 1705 on 2/22, then as I was reading some other responses in the thread I wanted to go back and add my opinion to my original post in response to one particular message. I clicked the edit button, got the message that I could not edit so I had to make an entirely new post to add my opinion.

So now if I want to add a thought or notice an error on my part outside the 5 minute window, which is entirely possible given that I post at work and get called to do something at any given time, I'll have to open a new post to explain the error and correct the old one. I don't necessarily want to leave a poorly composed post on the MB for all to see, but if I have to open a new message to explain the old one (rather than just making the change to the original post)...well it is what it is, I reckon.

Re: Edit?

I actually like that lack of efiting. I hate when someone says something wildly inflmmatory and then keeps changing it to suit.
