Hi,
I have checked on All Nurses Forums as a guest every now and then, but have just registered.
I am still learning to navigate through the Forum. This is also a busy time of year to have much time to go through and keep up with the posts.
N o p e ! :icon_sad: I do not have all my Christmas shopping done.... limited financially here, so I have to be creative.

I would like to be counted in on the section for Nurses with Disabilities.
I am signed up at my local Vocational Rehabilitation. I am going through some personal stuff right now. I am filling out EEOC paperwork on employers that would not hire me and also getting information from American Disabilities Act, 1990. I may be applying for Disability as much as I hate it. I can still work part-time if I do receive Disability. All of it has been stressful to say the least.

I have a Service Dog which was suggested by one of my Dr's and having her gives me a lot of confidence and a secure feeling. There are days I would not get up if it weren't for her. She's good at nudging, pawing and then jumps on my chest like she's giving me CPR ! if I don't get up - she's very insistent. Thank God for her.
I have other dogs, 2 Quarter Horses, 1 burro, and Clyde the cat !

I also like photography, artwork, rescue & transport of shelter pets, disaster prepared local group (V.O.A.D. - say voe- ad ) and have been looking for a job.... long story. I am married and have a mature, working 21 y/o son.
I have 12 years experience as a RN in ICU/CCU, CCU Step-down/Telemetry and home health. As most of you, I have made a few rounds working ER and floated to Med-Surg and Recovery.
I am in north Alabama.
:icon_biggrin: Good to meet ya'll.
