2 yr member had to re-register????

I logged in as usual and got the "welcome," screen which then proceeded to the forums. However, when I attempted to send a reply to a post, I was unable to do it and was directed to re-register!! I had to re-input all of my info from more than 2 years ago when I first discovered this website and I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. Also, when I attempted the "Contact us" screen, when the screen appeared, it had an old email address under my name that I had changed more than a year ago!! I wondered how I was still getting the newsletters sent to my correct email address. VERY ANNOYING AND CONFUSING!!

Sorry about the issue...see you joined in 2004. Forwarded to Brian's attention.

Subscription to newsletter is seperate from bulletin board registration.

Members should check their User Control panel ---found under quick links,
Edit Email & Password periodically to make sure email address is current or to change passwords. BB has no way of knowing if you've changed email accounts otherwise.

Re: 2 yr member had to re-register????

Sorry you had a bad experience, but like Karen said, if you had an old email in the system, that is our only method of contact. For some reason, if you changed your old email address over a year ago, it must not have gone through or completed the change?

Please let us know if you have any other concerns. Thanks
