Is it okay to complete your paperwork at work after your 8hour shift and get paid overtime for it? I find that it takes me awhile to do those oasis forms and admits and I find myself staying at work to finish it partly because I get distracted at home and I don't want my desk stacking up with charts ect... I don't take advantage because sometimes I clock out and don't expect to get paid for it but then again I am still working!! I have seen other nurses doing the same. What do you all do? What do some of your agencies expect?
