Hello Friends..

I have been in nursing some 18 years now, and tend to bounce back between HHC and LTC. I am back to Home Health once again, this time as the DON of the agency. I am wondering if anyone out there in cyberland has insight on NHC ? They are a national chain, based out of Tennesee.
Thanks for
Monica

Re: NHC HomeCare

I have several friends that work for NHC -- one is a PT, and he's been with NHC for what seems like a hundred years. He loves it. Another friend of mine has just started with them and is pretty happy about things so far... I'm in TN, and in our area, NHC seems to have above average retention rates for both nursing and therapy staff. They're "corporate", but that's not necessarily a bad thing. They've been in business for a long time --

Yes, thank you. I did that. I was looking for people with personal experience.

I worked for NHC in Tn. and was happy with them. I've seen better and I've seen worse. Lifecare was one of the better ltcf that I worked for in Tn. and I recently found out there is a lifecare here in Fl. but they are too far away from me.
