Medicaid CBA program

Anyone working as a Community Based Alternative nurse in TX? I'm having some difficulty with a caseworker deciding she can refuse to refer a client to another agency after I decline to accept the client on an annual reassessment.....can a caseworker do that? Does the caseworker have ultimate decision on whether your agency accepts or declines a patient based on safety reasons?

The patient was initially a transfer which we accepted; but circumstances are changed and now we wish not to continue services.

Would like to hear from TX CBA nurses out there.

Re: Medicaid CBA program

I would try to get hold of the CW's supervisor; I had to do that once because I kept sending 2067s requesting termination of a client with no response. I did so and received the termination the next day with no repercussions either.
Good luck to you.
