How important is Automation in HH?

Hello - How many people feel that automation is important in HH? I am new to the industry, and am on the software side of things. A few HH agencies that I've spoken to are still using paper-based scheduling, and am curious to see how much stress that creates in the office, versus those who use automation?

Re: How important is Automation in HH?

From the perspective of a field employee I would have to say that any scheduling software program is only as good as the person who is doing the input. I've seen lots of problems when the scheduler makes mistakes or just forgets to put things into the computer.
