Post Hospital based vs. Independent home health care

Hi,

Would like to see posts by nurses regarding their experiences in hospital-based and independent home health care. I have worked for several independent home care agencies but am currently looking at applying for a hospital-based position because the hospital home care programs seem more secure at this time. Will I experience a lot of culture shock? Thanks.

I dont have much exper in independent based. however, hospital based home health is a joy to work in. you share in benefits of hospital employees. you are eligible for reinbursement when you take seminars. supplies are easily had. and the system is very organized.
