Hoem Health and Health Insurace

Hi all,
Hi im a LVN. Im working at a hospital 5 times a week and at the same time im doing part time home health. I have 2 kids. I just started and so far i liked it so im planning to quit the hospital soon. But i really need a health insurance for my kids. Do you have outside insurance? which one do you recommend? How much?

Hi,

Can you not get coverage for the kids through your HH company? Or don't they offer it?

Ask your home health employer if they offer insurance and how many hours per week you have to maintain to be eligible. One company that I worked for had a policy that if for some reason you fell below the required weekly hours (28) then you could maintain your coverage by paying out of pocket for those weeks.
