Am interested in any helpful hints for dealing with wounds, rashes, etc. for bedbound pts. No ET nurse for our HHA and we seem to have to draw on experience. Any ideas?

I just attended one of their seminars on wound care. Worth every penny!
the speaker was very informative. lots of information of dressing choices. wound tx and she also wrote a pictorial book on wounds, their tx and healing . the book was an additional 20 dollars, but very useful in identifying wounds, staging etc.
the text she provides with the seminar is a useful resource.. email me if you have any other questions. the above mentioned resource from previous responder is also great.

Try www.convatec.com They have an excellent site on decubitus ulcer care and you can seek input from a wound care specialist who will make suggestions based on the type of wound you are dealing with. I highly recommend this site!
