Working and going to school for MSN - Can it be done?

I am going back to obtain my MSN. Has anyone done it while working 36 hours a week? Raising a 9year old and a 4 month old? Am I crazy or should I just keep plugging away at it. In the end, will it be worth getting the MSN?

If you plan on anesthesia for the MSN, you are crazy. Truly, I don't think its possible to do 36 hours per week. There is simply not enough time in the week to get it done. Now, if you are going to get your MSN to be an NP, you could probably do it while working 36 hours per week if you did that program part time.

The people i have met in programs worked for a little while. Maybe for the first 6 months or even close to a year. After that, no way....

Hey

If your jus looking to do your MSN core classes (so not NP ior CRNA) you can take two online classes per semester without difficulty working full time. The danger is how self motivated you are. Online classes are 100% motivated by yourself.
