Lightbulb Hospital or Group paying for your education? Who? Where?

Hi all

My name is Mike MacKinnon, Im currently a flight RN and have done reasearch teach every class that exists etc. In anycase, i have decided that the next step is CRNA.

What i looking for is information on where either groups or schools exist that offer to pay for school if you committ to 1-2 years of service?

If anyone has an ideas/suggestions please email me direct or post here. thank you all!

What you need to do is search for an anesthesia group that will pay ur tuition. Try gaswork and contact groups and ask them if they have there arrangements. Ask your local anesthesia groups as well b/c frequently larger groups do arrange these deals. Usually you will have to sign a contract to work for them for X yrs. If you break that you will have to pay all and any loans back that they paid for you. Others have paid you back for the school you paid for if you sign a contract for X yrs after you graduate. Others wil just give you a stipend or what not to live off of while is school. Befoer you sign a contract get someone else to look at it for you that is farmiliar with contracts.

Also few if any schools pay for their SRNA's education. About the only way I see this happening is if it affiliated with a hospital or adademic group say Duke for example would waive the tution for your work after graduation. But Duke to my knowledge doesnt do this and I havent heard of any that do. Your best bet will be either a Anesthesia group of a Hospital that employs CRNA's directly.
