Laura,
We, too, have a Texas Wesleyan satellite program here. At the NSNA convention in March, I spoke with the TWU Dean of Admissions for the CRNA program, and she told me that they look for a minimum of two years of critical care nursing experience

. She said their technical minimum is one year (which is the time I have heard from other programs) but in reality, admits have 2+ years. She also said that they prefer "adult" ICU experience over pediatric, and that PACU, ER, and heart cath lab don't meet the requirements.
Good luck to you!!
