Smile Question about Rush U. application

I am interested in applying to Rush's NA program, but I am unsure about the Biostatistics class. It has to be a graduate level, and it can be taken off campus, but it can also be taken on campus (at least I think, I believe it is online). Anyway, can anyone that has applied or not, recommend an online class to take that is reliable or should I look into their online class. I tried calling for info, was transferred a couple of times, and don't believe my question was answered.
Thanks

Re: Question about Rush U. application

You can take up to 12 credit hrs as an unclassified student before you take the GRE and apply to a program. I took the stats class at Rush- went to class and I think you wouldn't miss much taking this online. I found clarifications given in class more confusing and I ended up figuring stuff out for myself. I know others have taken the online class at Kansas state before they were accepted. You might want to go to the information sessions they hold monthly. I started CRNA school this week and everything I learned in the session held true.

Good luck!

Re: Question about Rush U. application

My impression of the interview was that they were evaluating my critical care skills. I work in CCU, they asked me about CCU stuff. I went over critical care basics from my ccrn book, and did the PaceP.org module online. They want to know how you plan to deal with the social, financial rigors associated with the program etc. It felt very much like a job interview but not as stressful as some of the posts I've seen about others getting drilled. Prepare and be professional. Good luck!

Re: Question about Rush U. application

I took their online biostats class, had no problems at all. A lot of people take the class from Kansas State online. If you were successful in other online classes, this isn't much harder. You just need to be on top if things as it moves fast. Good luck.
