PDA or Laptop?

Which would you say is the most useful as a SRNA? and why? Also, what software did you find most useful? Was it suggested by your program or did you get it on your own search for help?

Both PDA & Laptop. PDA for clinical laptop or desktop during classes. Software varies by school, etc. Find out what students are using at your school and what their likes/dislikes are.

My laptop has been very valuable to me and i just got a pda for clinical in august.

Re: PDA or Laptop?

I love my PDA, dell x30 axim. Epocrates works well and is free. Skyscape is great software also. My laptop is great for class notes(Games) and writing papers anywhere. Bets of luck

Re: PDA or Laptop?

Dell Axim X30 with epocrates, and skyscape references work great for clinical and organizing schedules. Dell Laptop for web surfing, research, and writing papers. With the price of computers coming down so much gthey are so much more affordable than eve. Good luck with your schooling.

Re: PDA or Laptop?

Would get both palm (life drive which rocks the shazba) and laptop (I have a desktop, but several of my classmates have laptops and I wish I would have purchased instead) Whatever you get, do it before school starts and as a hint you may be able to contact your financial aid office and have the cost added onto your financial need for loans.
