I have two semesters left of RN school and will then beging to complete my BSN. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not to pursue my BSN through an online program. Do CRNA schools frown upon online degrees?

I think that when it comes to a BSN, all that matters is your piece of paper. The things that matter to CRNA schools are you grades and past experiences. I have an online BSN degree, and I am in CRNA school. That's just my opinion in a nut shell

I start crna school in Aug. of 08. I did my BSN on line b/c I am the bread winner of the family. I most of the time worked 55+hrs a week, so online was the only way to go. I was a C and B student during my ADN, but all A's in BSN. I think it showed the interviewers that I could multi-task overtime work/school/family and still make all A's. I think it helped my chances. Just my opinion.

Thanks for sharing your situation, and congrats on getting into crna school! I'm in a similar boat (family, work, school) so it's great to hear success stories of people being able to juggle a very busy life and continue their education....

First let me say, congrats to scrna3851 on getting into CRNA school. I had some doubts too because my grades in my ADN program are B's and C's. I thought my chances of getting into a CRNA program were doomed. But thank you for giving me hope.
