Hi everyone! I am only a first semester junior in a nursing program; however, I've been looking up information about CRNAs for years (and am still craving the knowledge of the experienced). I am wanting to know exactly what (if you can name particulars) I should focus on while in nursing school to better prepare me for CRNA school (assuming I am accepted). I know my journey is young, and I have miles to travel before even reaching the application point, but any and all information would be much appreciated, even if it isn't relevant to the initial inquiry. Thank you all in advance!

If you do a search back over the last few months, you will find more information that you will even know what to do with.

Hi allibear! You are just starting in your career but if you really want to be a CRNA bad enough you will succed, no matter what anyone may tell you. Yes, grades do matter but that's not all that schools look at. Get the best grades in school that you can. Learn all you can about critical care in your nursing program, get into a critical care internship when you graduate, get your certification as soon as you can, and then apply to as many schools as you can. But most of all, if at first you don't succeed, keep trying!!
