ICU nurse in NY trying to find a CRNA program

Hi guys, my name is Ulices working at a Med ICU in Brooklyn NY getting done with all those requierements, I took my BSN in Cuba, my GPA 3.78, finishing ICU year In November!

What do you guys think that is the best way to get ready for all of this, some people say tha some schools does not require GRE, don't know how true is that?

I feel so excited about my next goal, came to this country three years ago with none english, now RN in FL and in NY, working in an ICU such a miracle, feel so happy and I hope that with nice people like you around i will get in someday in one of the CRNA programs doesn't matter where.

I will appreciate any help, I am trying to apply out of NY so expensive here, what do you really think about that?

Hard to go out of NY and have to by a car plus, but somebody told me it's hard to be accepted!

For today thanks for this opportunity to share my issues, good luck for everyone, my best regards!

Ulices from Brooklyn.

Well, that depends on how far from NYC you want to go, but UMDNJ in Newark doesn't require GRE.

Great to see you posting again.

Best suggestion is to select a few schools that you think would meet your needs and see what their requirements are, each program can set their own specific requirements for entry, and they do. And you will find that things can vary widely, from GPA to exam requirements, etc.

Good luck and please keep us posted.
