I was planning on applying for CRNA school in May 09. I already took my GRE and my ACLS cert. I went to the Director of the program to ask a question about my transcript and she notified me that the program still had a few spots left. She told me to apply! My heart jumped into my throat... I went home that day full of hope. Filled out the application and handed it in along with my transcripts. Got an interview shortly thereafter and the acceptance letter.

This was the best sequence of events that has ever happened to me. It made my year to get into anesthesia school!! (especially since the deadline for applications was nov 07 and I came to talk in January of 08!)

OMG, that is amazing!! congrats!! What school will you be going to? What did your stats/experience look like?

Ditto for me. I applied after the deadline. The class roster had already been determined. I figured I would get an early start on the application process for the class that would start in 2009.

The process went so quickly that it's all just a blur now. The irony of the situation is that I applied after the deadline for my BSN program and I got accepted for the next class. Procrastination has somehow managed to work in my favor. Go figure...
