Difference between MSN and MS in Health Sciences

...and then there's the MS in Nurse Anesthesia. What is the big difference? Perhaps the MSN requires more research? Do they all require a thesis? This is probably a basic question, but thanks for your help!

Re: Difference between MSN and MS in Health Sciences

I am in a MSN program that does not have a thesis. I am not sure about MS of Health Science in regards to thesis. The difference between the degrees to my understanding is the MSN requires nursing core classes such as theory and research and some others.

Re: Difference between MSN and MS in Health Sciences

I have a MS in Biology and I had oral boards instead of a thesis. My program was strong on bio/phys and no nursing courses
