Good evening!

I am a freshman, fresh out of high school, wanting to eventually become a CRNA. I have shadowed CRNA's back home and make great grades. I have read on here all the different GPA's and GRE's of successful applicants, but what do I really need to be looked at by the average CRNA program? I am not talking about the minimums, I am looking for what I need to be seriously competitive in all aspects of the application. Thanks in advance for replying!

Re: CRNA Hopeful

Well, the programs I applied for look at the following:
GPA (overall, and then science alone)
GRE score
# of years ICU experience & type of ICU (high acuity vs. small-hobunk-don't do anything ICU)
CCRN
PALS/ACLS
References
All I can say is make the best grades u can, get into the best ICU you can, and learn as much as you can!
