i'm taking online chemistry class now, can i take just lecture course only? or I have to combine it with Lab too?

I assume that you're taking this course because you want to transfer it into a degree program somewhere, not just for your own personal enjoyment and satisfaction, right?

I would encourage you to check with any schools you're thinking you might want to transfer this course to, and make sure that they will accept it. A lot of nursing/allied health degree programs do require that the science courses include a lab component.

I too am taking chem through une. Organic chem I. It actually has a lab with it. which are you taking?

I'm taking General Chem I online this summer; the lab is required and also totally online. I'm doing this through SUNY learning network.

The CRNA program I'm interested in requires O-Chem lecture only, but from what I've seen around where I live (and in the SUNY system), you can't get into an O-Chem class without two semesters of chemistry with labs, and labs are a co-requisite for O-Chem.

I am thinking of taking the online Organic Chem I class through them as well. How is it going for you? Is the content easy to follow and understand?

i just started two weeks ago, will let you know when i'm at least half way through, so far so good though.
