Chem 160 ?

Im a first semester freshmen and at the time i signed up for classes , i didnt really have the CRNA goal in my mind, so i enrolled in Chem 106 (no lab).. but this does me no good because it doesnt meet the critiera for our nursing college, so my question is, has anyone else taken Chem 160 (Gen Chem) during the summer (4 weeks). This is the class i need to take to get caught back up. Thanks for the info .

BTW, if you think i would be better off taking a non-pre-nursing class this summer, and just take chem 160 during the regular school year, suggest one or two. Thanks

Re: Chem 160 ?

All nursing schools vary slightly, and I don't know which school you are going to or what their specifics are. I do think that taking a 4 credit chem class with a lab in the summer is managable. Just don't take a lot of other courses at the same time. I hope that this helps you a little. Good luck!

Re: Chem 160 ?

I did take a summer chem course at a community college. It fulfilled the inorganic requirement for my BSN. It was not too bad at all, I think I got an A.
