Does anyone know if you obtain ceu's for your license while in school or do you have to go out on your own to get ceu's to renew your RN license.

Re: Ceu's

Your hours that you get for the ACLS, PALS, etc. can be used for the RN license renewal.
And these will be done while you are in your program.

There are usually areas that you wish to learn more about so it is easy to keep up your hours.

It is very easy to get the hours to maintain the RN license, there are always going to be seminars that you attend and you can get credit for those.

Check with your board of nursing, because some states will allow you to count your school classes. I know I was able to do that while working on my BSN.
Good Luck!
