Can you still get into CRNA school if your BSN in not accredited?

I had an interview to get into CRNA school, they asked me what I would do if the AANA would not allow someone with an unacredited BSN to enter a CRNA program. I went to a private religious college who will not seek acreditation due to religious reasons. ( I have been a nurse for 13 years. I was accepted to USA -Mobile AL for the NP program, but after a few classes decided that was not what I wanted to do. ) I guess I figured they would not have called me back for an interview to CRNA school if I was not a viable candidate for the program. Why would they waste their time? Any ideas on this situation or advice?
Thanks
