The university I'm attending as an undergraduate offers an accelerated program to get my BSN and MSN in five years. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until five months after the application deadline. -Headdesk-

Do you think it'd be a good idea to contact my councelor when school starts about perhaps somehow getting into the BSN/MSN program? Would having an MSN in addition to my BSN set me apart when I apply to Anesthesiology schools? Or should I just stick with my BSN?

I don't know about it setting you apart, but if you could work as a BSN nurse in an ICU while you finish the MSN portion of the program, you would be using your time very efficiently. Then once you got into CRNA school, you wouldn't have to worry yourself with the classes required for the MSN, and just concentrate on the anesthesia classes.
