Re: Best GRE study guide?

My sis is a college professor & she said that they advise people who need extra help to use the "GRE for Dummies" to study. Just a thought.

Re: Best GRE study guide?

I ordered the Kaplan book. Now I guess my next question is how long to prepare?

Re: Best GRE study guide?

I spent 10 weeks studying/preparing, during this time time I took a prep-class...So my answer is 2-3 months.
Good luck

Re: Best GRE study guide?

Month, maybe a month & a half. It depends on how much time you devote to it each day. If you can do ~3 hours a day for that length of time, you should be in good shape.

Re: Best GRE study guide?

I agree with CufflerJJ, 2-4 hours a day for 6 weeks and be consistent and you should have the confidence to do well. Take as many practice questions and tests as possible. Kaplan's vocabulary words were very helpful in may case.
