Albany, Anyone?

Anyone in at Albany this summer?
Any tips would be appreciated. In fact, any insight would be great.
DFK? I'd PM you, but I don't think I can.
Thanks all, in advance!

Re: Albany, Anyone?

Can't give you any tips on the schooling but check out the Freihofer Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookies!! My elemenatary school in Schenectady was next to the bread factory, and I think now it is a day old bakery, lol. Freihofer will be available in Albany. Cheers!

Re: Albany, Anyone?

Any current students at Albany have any advice? Either on the program, the clinical sites, or the interview / interview process?
I would surely appreciate that.

And thanks, Psalm. Freihofer it is. :-)

Re: Albany, Anyone?

Friehoffers has a bakery outlet on washington or the street parallel to it where they sell day old bread and cookies to all the poor ppl in the area. It has fed me sometimes during my poor college days.

In the same vein as the above posts, in addition to Freihofer's chocolate chip cookies, you'll have to experience Bob & Ron's Fish Fry on Central Avenue and Friendly's ice cream at Colonie Center mall.

You'll need the calories. It's quite a hike into Albany Med from the parking lot.

Nah, the one in Troy (actually, I think the first one was in Watervliet) is Ted's. Also very famous for its fish fries.
