Pat on the back..

Hi,
Just thought I would share some good news. I have been working for 10 months now as a RN and just made employee of the month. It's a great feeling to be noticed for the work we do.Someones always watching. .When I found out my patient nominated me, I thought to myself, " now this is why I went into nursing.
To make a difference if even to 1-person is worth it.

Re: Pat on the back..

That's awesome!!! It just makes my day when a patient's parent (i work in the NICU) compliments me and tells me I am doing a great job! Especially since I am still an intern and not always sure how to do things, I am glad to know that the patients' families can still see I care very much about them and their babies! Good for you and I am glad to see that your place of employment notices and rewards nurses like you!
